Performance Training
Real Instruction for Real Results.
Strength, mobility, mechanical, and mental & emotional training for high performance players. It’s the heart and soul of New York Empire Baseball.
There isn’t one right way to throw a ball or swing a bat. But there is one most efficient way to do those things. Using advanced technology including 3D motion capture, proprietary training models and methods and the most highly trained, certified, and experienced instructors in baseball, players will work toward demonstrable, measurable, healthy results.
New York Empire Baseball also employs some of the baseball industries leading training technologies, tools, and equipment from partners at Driveline Baseball, K-Motion, PitchLogic, Rapsodo, Blast Motion, Pocket Radar, OnForm, HitTrax, and Portolite Pitching Mounds.

Advanced Training & Lessons
New York Empire Baseball delivers real instruction for real results by focusing on efficient, health-first movement across all aspects of the game — pitching, hitting, fielding, catching, baserunning, and game awareness. Our nationally recognized instructors, certified by leading organizations like Driveline, K-Motion, On BaseU, NPA, and USA Baseball, tailor training to each player’s unique movement patterns using advanced tools and technologies. We emphasize long-term athletic development through proven, cue-based methods that build scalable skills — not temporary outcomes — ensuring players are prepared to succeed as the game grows more demanding.

Pitching Training
Healthy. Hard. Accurate. That’s New York Empire Baseball’s framework for pitching instruction. Never will a player be taught to “just throw strikes” - but instead to learn how to move, throw, and pitch - and then to pitch in competitive situations. New York Empire Baseball’s pitching program is led by the world’s first Driveline Baseball certified pitching coach, currently the pitching consultant to NYU Langone’s Sports Performance Center, and formerly the Area Director for the National Pitching Association. He’s a frequent guest on Sirius XM’s NYU Doctor Radio on the topic of arm health and long term athletic development.

Hitting Performance training
Great swings create great hits. That’s New York Empire Baseball’s approach to hitting instruction. Never will a player be taught to “just make contact” - but instead they’ll be taught to swing - hard, and consistently hard, on a plane that makes hard impact most likely. The harder a player hits a baseball, the more likely it is to be a hit - and since a hitter can’t control the outcomes, New York Empire Baseball first teaches players how to swing, then how to hit, and then how to hit in competitive situations.

Strength, Speed, and Agility
Foundational, functional strength, mobility, and movement. It’s a prerequisite for mechanical training and performance, and it’s at the heart of New York Empire Baseball’s training approach. Long term athletic development is the goal for every New York Empire Baseball athlete, and our methods, models, training tools, equipment, and technology - along with our individualized screening and training approach - make for a successful plan for every athlete.
